Oliver Husain is a filmmaker and artist. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, he studied abroad at the University of Fine Arts in Baroda, India. His experience in Baroda—where he decided to pursue mud architecture as a career—is described in the video Squiggle, which was included in the ‘We Can Do This Now’ exhibition at The Power Plant in 2006. The range of Husain’s award-winning work spans from computer animation to live action compositing to Bollywood dance sequences. Recently Husain’s Five Thinking Hats were exhibited at the Greene Naftali Gallery, New York.
