Abbey Williams was born in New York in 1971. Since completing her graduate studies at Bard College in 2003 she has participated in numerous exhibitions in Europe (Tate Britain, London; Reina Sofia Museum, Madrid and The National Galley of Victoria, Melbourne) and in the United States (Peres Projects, Los Angeles; PS1/MoMA, New York and a solo exhibition at Foxy Production, New York). She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
