Sit Up is an ironic comment on Artist's position and his self-determined strategy of reduction, which turned out to be dominant modus operandi for a few years now in video practice of De Michele. Isolated time extract of the physical displacement of the people/objects to a specific neutral position by suggestive by suggestive offering to the observer by a discrete and rhythmic machine in a witty paradigm of De Michele art practice, and enables to the observer to experience this offering to the view in the way that artist sees the choice and reduction in his own work, with the impression that the options are offered by some precise and discrete automaton.
